Saw the hottest nurse in the world today and was asking her questions about her profession, thinking of doing the switch. This recession is effecting the architecture field to much and medical is something I don’t particularly like but something I’m quick responsive with.

We need a Boston Tea Party of our own

238 years ago a major event that shaped america into a country occurred, this action was the Boston Tea Party. On December 16, 1773 colonist went aboard 3 ships and destroyed taxed tea that was suposed to be return to Britain, This event was a huge factor leading into the American revolution.  This event was the cause of unfair taxation by Britain on its imported tea to the colonies which they appealed but weren’t being taken seriously until these actions occurred.

In all it has me thinking, why don’t we take action.  Just like the colonist they fought against this law, they did it in a civilized way just to not be heard.  Just as us in modern America, we aren’t being taken seriously.  We went and protest just for the government to make jokes out of it, saying that the only thing we’re doing is annoying the people in the neighborhood, that the only people in the crowds are homeless bums and worst that they’re jobs out there but the only ones being made are for Subways, Starbucks and Mcdonalds.  Those jobs aren’t gonna support a family, those jobs aren’t gonna allow you to live in house/apartment and for all the people who are busting their ass trying to obtain a higher degree those jobs won’t pay off your loans.  America gets more and more in debt, they spend more money on wars then education, they talk about how people on wealth fare are stealing the cash when we have politicians making over 400 grand living in their mansions with a retirement package not getting anything done.  Our social security is gone and healthcare reform never came close, this government is just shitting on us all and the future.  We need a massive change or a new government in all.

MTA

So I learned the story behind the MTA and New York Government story and I really feel bad for the transit workers.  So MTA is a private sector and has no links with the government but they make so much in surplus that the government openly takes as much as they want for government campaigns and other stuff, but the government takes so much money from the mta and never pay them back or do so in 5 years but in small sums.  So the Mta is always left with less then enough to pay their workers plus their health benefits that come with the job.  Just last year the Mta cut 16,000 jobs and did it in a vigorous way by letting go of its workers that worked there for less then 6 years while they had workers who had already worked for over 25 years and qualified for retirement packages but didn’t want to cut them as that would be more money they would have to pay every year.  This is also the reason why the fare is risen every year and the MTA is always complaining about bankruptcy, they really make millions extra but just like everyone else in New York they the government is finding ways to burn threw their cash as well.

Bloomberg in New York

I freaking hate Mayor Bloomberg now, at first when he became Mayor he did well in making New York safe but now he turn the city into this huge corporate market where only chain stores can succeed in.  The Only jobs that he created are jobs like mcdonalds, subways, H&M and all these crap jobs that don’t really require a higher degree of education.  Thats why hes firing all these teachers now and closing down all these schools, theres no need for them when theirs no jobs out their in the market for them.
