Hip Hop is fake

Back in the day artist use to tell stories about their personal struggle, using hip hop as a way to get away from the crack game.  These stories were true and was the fundamental reason why people loved the music, it gave some people a vision into what was happening and it gave others a way to tell their stories.  People like Snoop, Pac, Biggie, Eazy, Dre, wu tang clan and much more were the story tellers and the reason why I use to love the genre.  Their was never any bullshit, just what they did to survive in hard times and hip hop became their catalyst to escape the life they didn’t wanna be apart of anymore.

Now people don’t even live close to the way it was before, the videos they make just show them trying to make an adventure but its never real of entertaining.  The music is full of auto tune to hide that fact that they can’t rap at all and each video is a commercial showing of prada, gucci and all of their endorsements.  The rap game sold out on its fundamentals and the Genre is full of posers with crappy stories and big egos, take Rick Ross for example.  He claims to be this big gangster selling shit to everyone but he was a correctional officer in the 90’s, you can’t get anymore poser then that.

“You know it makes me unhappy (what’s that)
When brothas make babies, and leave a young mother to be a pappy
And since we all came from a woman
Got our name from a woman and our game from a woman
I wonder why we take from our women
Why we rape our women, do we hate our women?
I think it’s time to kill for our women
Time to heal our women, be real to our women
And if we don’t we’ll have a race of babies
That will hate the ladies, that make the babies
And since a man can’t make one
He has no right to tell a woman when and where to create one
So will the real men get up
I know you’re fed up ladies, but keep your head up” Tupac - Keep ya Head up (In appreciation of womans day)
